Resolving Problems is What We Love to Do!
We view our work as helping our clients resolve a problem – whether it be challenging a wrongful termination, getting additional severance, obtaining a reasonable accommodation, recovering unpaid wages, defending against litigation, enforcing a non-compete, or advising on a tricky personnel issue.
In order to do this, the first step in our process is to try and negotiate satisfactory resolutions for our clients. When appropriate, we suggest mediation. But don’t worry, when litigation is necessary, we have the experience, tenacity, work ethic and track record to represent your interests in court. We take great pride in both our dispute resolution and litigation abilities.
Our Process: Working Together as a Team
The initial step in our process is a consultation meeting where we review the facts and circumstances of your case. It is like solving a puzzle. We put the pieces together to analyze your potential claims and begin developing a strategy to get you the results you need.
You will always meet with an attorney to discuss your case. We do charge a fee for our consultations because we provide valuable insights and guidance that will help you whether or not we decide to work together.
Assuming we agree to work together, we will send you a retainer agreement outlining the scope of our representation and our fee structure. Depending on the nature of the case, we offer a variety of different fee options including contingency, flat fees, hourly billing and hybrid arrangements. You can pay with cash, checks or credit cards.
Once you hire us, we begin investigating your claims and implementing the strategy we had already begun formulating during our initial consult. We will then take the steps necessary to tackle the problem head on.
We work as a team. Your input is as important as ours. You will always work with at least one partner of the firm and will have access to that partner at any time during your case.
Finally, once we have achieved the final result, we will walk you through all the necessary paperwork to finalize your case.
